Import/Export your data

Export your projects, tasks, reviews, and accomplishments as CSV; current limits on import

You can export your MONOid data as CSV files for backup or use in spreadsheets and other tools. Bulk import from CSV is not currently available.

Export

Export is available under Settings > Workspace > Export. You choose which entities to include, then click Export CSV to download files for the selected data.

What you can export

  • Projects — One CSV with: _id, title, description, status, updatedAt (ISO timestamp).
  • Tasks — One CSV with: _id, title, notes, bucket, projectId, project (project title), categoryId, category, doneAt, lastScheduledOn, updatedAt (timestamps in ISO format).
  • Reviews — One CSV with: _id, date, type, description (plain-text preview), updatedAt.
  • Accomplishments & Disappointments — Two CSVs (accomplishments and disappointments), each including the review, date, title, description, scope, linked projects, and linked tasks.

Filenames include the entity name and date, e.g. projects-export-2026-02-12.csv.

How to export

  1. Go to Settings and open the Export tab (under Workspace).
  2. Select the checkboxes for the entities you want (Projects, Tasks, Reviews, Accomplishments & Disappointments).
  3. Click Export CSV. A separate file is downloaded for each selected entity.

Export is a one-time download; there is no scheduled or automatic export.

Import

Bulk import of data from CSV (or other file formats) is not currently available in MONOid. Export is intended for backup and for use in other tools (e.g. analysis in a spreadsheet). If you need to bring in data from another system, use the Notion or Linear integrations where applicable, or contact Support for enterprise options.
